Your local Chimney sweep founded in 2018, based in Weymouth, Dorset. We are a small independent company that aims to provide the highest standard of customer service.
Dave Kane, the Managing Director, started his working career as a Stonemason/Fireplace fitter. Thirty years later the company he worked for closed and he therefore decided to go into Chimney Sweeping full-time.
During this time, he was providing regular sweeps for a number of years for friends and family and the firm he used to work for. He then went off and got qualified and then started SweptAway!

Sweeping your chimney and getting it clean and safe to use before the lighting season and after so that you are ready for the following season.

Removal of bird nests is a necessity. Therefore it is advisable that, after removal, a bird guard is fitted at the same time to stop the birds from coming back!

Sweptaway Weymouth can fit cowls, bird guards, new pots, caps to close off disused chimneys, flaunching and bird cages to enter the chimney stack.
Remember that failure to sweep your chimney once a year could invalidate your home insurance!
